By the Grace of Almighty Allah, I have assumed the duties of Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. It is a matter of pride for me to be the Commander of the brave Police force who laid numerable sacrifices during the war on terror and played the role of frontline force. The dispensation of justice to a common man at his door step through better service delivery is my utmost priority. I am sure Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police, keeping its past traditions, will leave no stone unturned in achieving the goals by taking concrete and effective steps. I will try to make the police force friendly with society. Being the force Commander it will be my prime duty to look after the welfare of the force and make merit based decisions. Honesty, Fair play, Transparency, Rule of law, Service delivery and Accountability including Rewards & Punishment will be our priorities. I would seek the cooperation of all the stakeholders such as Media, Civil Society and Government functionaries in the elimination of criminals and to ensure the well-being and prosperity of the public.

SOS Alert Service is a one-click alert service for prompt intimation to Police in cases of major incidents with all relevant information about venue and its location. All educational institutions, Banks, media houses, NADRA offices etc., are linked online with the system through an App and by clicking Help button are connected through live call and SMSs.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police launched a new and updated version of the IGP Helpline, an important public service delivery initiative, to facilitate the public in registering their complaints using all available modes of communication without any limitation. Now public can send their complaints directly to the IGP Helpline using SMS & Social Media, free call, Mobile App, Twitter, Facebook, WhatsApp, online, email, Fax, By Post and In Person.
When public complaints are registered in the automated system unique complaint IDs are generated. The complainants can track their complaints through these IDs. The system is driven based on timelines and notifications are generated for delays and pendency. The complainant is informed about the progress and status of his application at any stage. This has again made the complaint redressal system transparent and has certainly made the police more accountable.
Raabta Traffic App is launched to ensure smooth drive and facilitate the road users. Citizens can check the status of the road for jamming using the App and can choose the alternate routes to ensure timely arrival at their destinations.. Other features included in the App are real time driving license verification, status of driving license renewal, fine payment verification, and contact details of the nearest mechanic for repair & maintenance of the vehicle if there is some fault during drive etc.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police has developed and launched EHM mobile App to provide emergency services to Women, Children, Transgender, Minorities and Disabled Persons. EHM service is providing direct access to Police with a single click of button in cases of harassment, torture, abuse etc.
By Pressing SOS button from the Mobile App a SOS Signal and Automatic Call is generated to a specific desk at Police Call Center. Call and Victim details including location are re-routed to specific response team in the area who tracks and locates the victim location. A call is automatically established between the victim and the response team when it reaches in the vicinity to provide assistance to the victim. All processes from emergency call to provision of required emergency services are completed with minimal physical intervention and every step is date and time stamped to ensure timely help to the victim.

The IGP Helpline, one of the many public service initiatives undertaken by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police has been launched with the objective of providing a mechanism for prompt redressal of public complaints by ensuring access & respect for all segments of society.Now access the police through just an SMS and the concerned police officers will contact the complainants within 24 hours.
